My favourite February (2020) comebacks!

Hello everyone,
Before I fully start I would like to wish you all well, please stay safe and if you are self isolating I am a message away! Expect a lot more posts in the next few weeks, it’s time for me to stay inside as much as possible.

5. iKON –  뛰어들게(Dive)

No matter what YG puts these boys through, they still resurface as strong as ever. Even without B.I, you can still tell he has had his part in this. The boys just keep going and remaining strong, the song is definitely a calmer one than some of their previous work but I like that.

4. Weki Meki 위키미키 – DAZZLE DAZZLE

These girls always make me smile, and I just love the aesthetic of the video. I have had this on repeat and even my little brother bops to this! Definitely recommend them if you’re looking to get into a girl group.

3. KARD – RED MOON

KARD – do they ever disappoint? Each time they have a comeback I just get more hooked and more impressed. I have mad respect for BM too, he’s been ever so helpful and understanding towards monbebes, thank you. The song itself has a hard beat to it and the music video is full of visuals. We’re definitely lucky to keep receiving such bops.

2. MCND – ICE AGE

Not going to lie to you guys, this is the first I have seen of this group and can I just say, I am older than pretty much all of them – wish I was this talented. The visuals are a yes, the rap is a mega yes and the song hits well. I will definitely be looking more into this group, if anyone wants to send me helpful guides I would appreciate it!

1. PENTAGON – Dr. BeBe

CAN THEY JUST CHILL FOR ONE COMEBACK PLEASE! Pentagon will forever remain one of my favourite groups, even though the drama with Yanan is not over (by drama I mean the fact that he wants to come back but CUBE won’t let him), they just keep releasing new songs that everyone falls in love with. Their fandom (universe) are so sweet and am so proud to be a part of it. Am very much in love with the vocals and visuals and love the way the music video has been put together.

My favourite December (2019) comebacks!

Happy (late) New Year everybody! I want to say a massive thank you to everyone who has made 2019 good for me and this blog. Thank you for all the support that I was given and therefore allowed to continue to create content.

2020 has already opened it’s doors so much wider for me, and I can’t wait to share my new experiences with you guys and let you all know the exciting things in which you can take part in too! It’s going to be a crazy ride, but I’m here for it.

So let’s get into the last month of Kpop in 2019, and see what my favourites have been.

5. Lee Jun Young(이준영) – Curious About U

He has done so well, and the beat is so catchy. It’s been a song that I have really liked since listening to it for the first time, I wish more people were supporting him like he deserves! He is so talented, and the music video is so bright. A big thumbs up from me.

4. CL – +ONE AND ONLY180228+

Guys, you have no idea how happy I am to see her making music again. This song (lyrics wise anyway) is definitely taking a dig, and she is proving that there is really no one else like her. This is so creative and still a lot like her style, am so happy she didn’t give up.

3. 혁 (HYUK) – ‘겨울나비 (Winter Butterfly)’

Hyuk has worked really hard on this, and he is definitely one of the most improved vocalists. In VIXX there were times he’d get little lines, and now to see him with his own comeback is amazing. The song is nice and slow, full of emotion and his vocals just smash it honestly, couldn’t be more proud of him. If you haven’t checked his album out, I definitely recommend that you do!

2. MOMOLAND(모모랜드) _ Thumbs Up

I love so many of the outfits in this music video I just had to rank MOMOLAND high! Of course, the song is extremely catchy and leaves you singing it for most of the day too. I think they are so unique, recently they really stand out for me.

1. Red Velvet – ‘Psycho’

Question, how could this not be my favourite of December? This is honestly absolutely everything that I have wanted Red Velvet to give me. The lyrics, the music and the video all just satisfy me so much. Each of the members shine in their own way, this era is doing good for them all. I wish Wendy steady recovery, and am looking forward to what 2020 has in store for them as a group.

My favourite October (2019) comebacks!

When will I ever post on time? Can I maybe get away by saying it’s been a lot to deal with in the fandoms this past month? I actually wrote this update a few days ago, it’s just uploading that I’ve deffered. I’ll say what I have to when it gets to the right song.

5. Youngjae – Forever Love

I’m forever thankful that this man is making music by himself. He never disappoints and his music is right up my street. Definitely even prefer this one to his last comeback, which is a lot.

4. ATEEZ – Wonderland

I know what you’re thinking. ATEEZ at number 4? Are you okay? Now listen, this comeback definitely SLAPS. The title track for sure is one of their best yet, but the rest of the album I’m not sure how keen I am personally. These rookies stole my heart back then and they still have it, can’t believe it’s already been a year since I’ve stanned.

3. VAV – Poison

Can I just say how proud I am? Not only is this song a proper tune but they’re also coming and touring Europe again. I am so excited to see them in London, if any of you are going and want to meet just let me know!

2. Bz-Boys – YESSIR

I’ve stumbled on this group by accident and I already want to stan just from this one song? Honestly I’ve had this song on replay and I highly recommend you guys give this group a chance! (If anyone stans and wants to teach me please do!).

1. Monsta X – Follow

Now this is a difficult one. I mean this comeback should of been one of Monsta X’s best comebacks to date. Everyone loved it, side tracks were amazing. But the fandom was so hurt by news and how everything was dealt with. Never the less we’ve supported and got wins, but we’re all still hurting as we remain unsure on the future of the group. Monsta X is OT7 in our hearts, and I can do nothing but support the boys, pray for the best and wait to see what the future holds. Please, don’t leave our boys.

My favourite September (2019) comebacks!

It’s been a hot minute, a hot month and a hot load of preparations! (Ok, maybe that didn’t work but we will go with it). Personally, I think that the girls absolutely rocked it this month.

If anyone is going to GOT7 in London and wants to meet let me know! I will be around all day doing my bits!

5. Zico – Human

Zico Zico Zico – I am so happy to see this, definitely a song that I’ve enjoyed a few times over and over again.

4. TWICE – Feel Special

This song has a lot more meaning to it than first seems. I’ve watched multiple youtube videos and theories on how deep their message actually is. I am so proud of them all! The song has been stuck in my head a few times, and I have streamed it some bit. Maybe it’s time to buy some physical albums from TWICE..?

3. KARD – Dumb Litty

W. O. W.
This is exactly what I needed from KARD, something completely different and absolutely breath taking. This has been a banger in the making and we all know that we love this look!

2. CLC – Devil

Do these girls ever disappoint? Nope. Never. I am in love with them all, and I love how mischievous they all are in the music video, works well with the title. Honestly, I need them to come to London, I want to see these girlies live!

1. Dreamcatcher – Deja Vu

Well well well. Out of all the songs that came out in September, this song has beaten them all for me. I really need to learn the members of Dreamcatcher, they deserve my support even more than ever. My favourite August (2019) comebacks!

Another month gone. It’s easy to forget how quick time flies, as am getting ready to return back to university after a summer of being at home. With my busy schedule though, I still had time to dive into my favourite comebacks in the Korean music industry. Let’s go!

5. FANXY CHILD – Y

Fanxy Child have always been a group that were made out of my favourite artists. Seeing them come back and do more has been a blessing. It’s a very chilled, laid back vibe that they’ve brought this time with some easy listen rap and vocals that are on point. Can’t wait for even more from them.

4. Ravi – Still Nirvana

I feel that from my top 5 this month you can definitely see a pattern. Have to be honest here, it took me a few listens to get into this flow, but once I was in that was it. Ravi never disappoints in my opinion, if he returns to London I hope to see him for sure. The song has a lot of featured artists which can be a bit overwhelming, but never the less adore adore adore this song!

3. M.O.N.T

This song is so important, it talks about a piece of land that is Korean however the Japanese fought over it (if you would like to read some discussion about it, underneath the video are fans explaining the situation much better than me). The flow of the song is very powerful, you can hear the pride and loudness of the group. Aside from the deep message that it brings, the song is 100% my type, and M.O.N.T are a group I am looking into learning.

2. EVERGLOW – Adios

If you haven’t heard this yet… where have you been? This was so close to actually being my number one this month. The chorus will be stuck in your head for days on end, the beat is so uplifting and sucks you in so you want to dance. It is definitely a comeback of theirs that will keep me interested to see what they do next!

1 PENIEL – Flip ft Beenzino

THIS.IS.HIS.YEAR!
This has been on my repeat over and over. Peniel has done so well on this comeback, and I have lowkey missed him. The flow of the rap is too good, the chorus is so catchy and I just have nothing bad to say. Please go and support Peniel!

My favourite April (2019) comebacks!

This months update is a little bit behind, many apologies, was busy getting all of my University stuff done! So let’s look at my favourite April comebacks, and there’s a few…

5. I.M X ELHAE – HORIZON

Of course Monsta X have my support whether it’s group or solo, and this mixtape definitely got my attention very quickly. It’s a proper jam, I’m not complaining! So, anyone going to see them in London?

4. TWICE – FANCY

A new comeback from Twice, the amount they get I sometimes struggle to keep up. This took a few replays, but the chorus ends up being stuck in my head days on end. A lot of people were expecting a lot more from this, but I think it’s still very… Twice?

3. NU’EST – BET BET

The way this song snapped. I really need to get to know the members as this is a group I have been following for such a LONG time now when it comes to their music.

2. BLACKPINK – Kill This Love

Now this was definitely a song to split the fandom. I feel like half of the fandom loved it while the other didn’t… Either way, it broke some records and stuff, and these girls are so talented. Definitely a bop that I am enjoying very much!

1. YOUNGJAE – Another Night

Many of us were upset when we knew that the B.A.P boys weren’t going to be working as a group anymore and rather focus on themselves. However, this is definitely not as much of a loss as we all expected. All the boys are throwing amazing solo comebacks our way, and not to be biased (though he always was my bias), Youngjae completely snapped when it came to this song. Please love and support them all!

My favourite March (2019) comebacks!

As we sneak into April, it’s time for me to review the month of March and give you my top 5!

5. MOMOLAND – I’m So Hot

Definitely a song that I have had stuck in my head for multiple days on end…

4. Lee Gikwang – Don’t Close Your Eyes (D.C.Y.E)

This is a solo artist I have loved for such a long time, and this song just bring my love for him even higher!

3. KARD – Bomb Bom

I have not really liked a comeback from KARD for a little while, but this one is just the one to make me realise how talented this group is, and to pay them more attention again!

2. PENTAGON – SHA LA LA

This song definitely had to grow on me, and it’s really odd still not hearing E’dawn with them, but these boys need and deserve all the support they can get, so I will always be there for them. Please support these boys, their company doesn’t understand-

1. VAV – THRILLA KILLA

Now we are talking about my favourite of this month, this song has been on repeat, and I mean it. VAV were always a special group to me, meeting them last year was definitely one of my highlights! Their popularity is slowly rising, and this song is definitely a great one to show to new fans! Enjoy Thrilla Killa!

My favourite February (2019) comebacks!

Throughout February, we as the fans of K-POP have been blessed with the amount of comebacks that we have received. I’m going to give you my top 5 favourite comebacks that I have had on REPEAT since they’ve come out!

5. (G)I-DLE – Senorita

Even though it wasn’t a song that instantly became my favourite, it was definitely one that grew on me over time. These girls are so talented and the song has a nice fresh sound!

4. Dreamcatcher – PIRI

Another strong comeback from Dreamcatcher, this instantly became one of my top picks for this month! These girls never fail to disappoint when it comes to bringing us an amazing sound.

3. Taemin – Want

Taemin has blown my mind once again. Every. Single. Time. His music style is so unique I can’t help but support him… (who wants an album unboxing..?).

2. ITZY – Dalla Dalla

Rookies? These girls are rookies? Already having at least one music show win under their belt, this group is definitely one to look out for. Their teasers had me instantly, I love how different sounding this is.

1. Monsta X – Alligator

This comeback is Joohoney’s era, I swear. Honestly, this had me shook from the moment it dropped. Have you seen such strong choreography… on water? The whole album has made me fall in love with them even more (is that even possible..?) and for that reason, Alligator gets the number one spot as my favourite comeback of February!
