Listen, I know I am so behind on songs of the month for October… I have recently had a lot on with getting sick, uni work and the whole situation around Monsta X and Wonho. I might do a small post about it on here when I know a little bit more about what is really happening behind closed doors…
In the meantime, of course I got all four versions of their comeback mini album, so here is an unboxing I filmed and quickly edited for you guys to be able to see the albums as well as my pulls.
I am going to desperately want all photo cards and lyric book of Wonho, so if you have any for sale or trade please do get in contact with me my twitter is @ SunlitYoungjae.
So, for the first time and probably my only time, I have ordered with MyMusicTaste. I don’t think it’s worth it with it getting stuck in customs, when I could easily avoid that by buying from other places.
Everything you need to know is in the video anyway, look forward to more album unboxing, I have GOT7 and Monster X albums preordered!
Now, every time I go to a concert I like to tell you guys how amazing it was and how much I have enjoyed it. I’m not sure how many times I have said that a concert has been my favourite, but this one tops them all (in my opinion)!
I was extremely lucky to be able to secure myself a VIP ticket for GOT7’s stop in London, and actually ended up pretty much at the front by barrier. This. Was. CRAZY!!! I’m going to share a few photos with you guys that I have managed to secure.
It was kind of weird, because in London we were not allowed to record the first half of the concert. We found it strange because in Amsterdam (the stop before London), no one said anything about fans not being able to record. However, as the show passed a certain point, we were allowed to record!
The fandom itself is a brand new level of kind, thankful and just overall amazing. Before the concert even started, I was surrounded by kind ahgases giving out or selling fan made goods. I could of grabbed a lot more, just want to say thank you to everyone who made something for others, the kindness reflects from what the boys have taught us as a fandom.
The show started and the fans screams filled the arena, in a way I have never heard before. Everyone was so excited, on a brand new level and I was living for it. The stage had a runway which was in a ‘T’ shape, and lucky me was at the end of the ‘T’, so no matter where the boys were, I was able to see them perfectly. A part of me still doesn’t believe that I was able to see and meet my all time favourite group, was that real?
Most of the beginning of their set was on the stage further away, their dancing skills were on point and don’t get me started on the solo/unit stages. It was mad. In my opinion, the concert set list was good, though personally I would of loved to see ‘A’ live, as that’s when I got into GOT7.
💚 LOOK AT HIS LITTLE DANCE! Also he’s pointing at my boyfriend who was with me but behind me to the left and had a full on interaction… totally not jealous… :))) actually love Youngjae to pieces and this night made me realise it even more #GOT7inLondon 💚 pic.twitter.com/gwyUaeIj9V

Being so close to the stage meant me and my boyfriend were actually able to get quite a lot of interactions when the boys were on the runway end of the stage. I cannot preach to you guys how good and genuine these guys are. The whole concert felt like a dream come true. The boys were playful, teasing each other, dabbing and whipping. Honestly, it was so much fun to watch them do what they are good at and love.
Now listen, I am not one to brag… at least not a lot. But hi-touch was on a completely different level. I was not expecting very much if I can say so, as tweets from the Amsterdam show did nothing but seemingly complain about how rude the security staff were and how quickly everything went. This was NOT the case for us.
There were actually no guards the other side, at least not that I noticed (but my eyes were only on the boys). No one pushed me, touched me or told me to hurry up. In reality, I was able to exchange a small conversation with pretty much every member.
The hi touch started with Jackson who was sat on the table (as were most of the members), and I told him more about my boyfriend who was in the line in front of me, as he is his biggest idol. Mark was next, and I am lowkey annoyed at myself as I wanted to tell him something amazing, instead I said a plain nice to meet you. Who says that? However, I was not prepared for what happened next. Youngjae. Choi Youngjae. I gave him a hi five and told him I love you to which he intertwined our fingers, squeezed our hands together and gave me the cutest of smiles. HOW AM I STILL HERE? Honestly, my ultimate bias did that??? Jaebeom was after, I made sure to let him know that he’s the best leader to which he thanked me. Yugyeom was a strange one. In my head I wanted to compliment his dancing he did on stage but instead I told him I loved him? Someone explain that one please. BamBam was next, reminded him that he’s a skinny legend and he told me he knew and winked! Last but not least, Park Jinyoung. I told him that he was a god, and he smirked. Please end me.
So, if you ever get the chance to see or meet or both GOT7, I highly recommend that you go and see them. If you saw me and said hello do send me the photographs you took of us!
Until next time! (It may or may not be an unboxing from ATEEZ…)
It’s been a hot minute, a hot month and a hot load of preparations! (Ok, maybe that didn’t work but we will go with it). Personally, I think that the girls absolutely rocked it this month.
If anyone is going to GOT7 in London and wants to meet let me know! I will be around all day doing my bits!
5. Zico – Human
Zico Zico Zico – I am so happy to see this, definitely a song that I’ve enjoyed a few times over and over again.
4. TWICE – Feel Special
This song has a lot more meaning to it than first seems. I’ve watched multiple youtube videos and theories on how deep their message actually is. I am so proud of them all! The song has been stuck in my head a few times, and I have streamed it some bit. Maybe it’s time to buy some physical albums from TWICE..?
3. KARD – Dumb Litty
W. O. W. This is exactly what I needed from KARD, something completely different and absolutely breath taking. This has been a banger in the making and we all know that we love this look!
2. CLC – Devil
Do these girls ever disappoint? Nope. Never. I am in love with them all, and I love how mischievous they all are in the music video, works well with the title. Honestly, I need them to come to London, I want to see these girlies live!
1. Dreamcatcher – Deja Vu
Well well well. Out of all the songs that came out in September, this song has beaten them all for me. I really need to learn the members of Dreamcatcher, they deserve my support even more than ever. I have followed them music wise since pretty much debut, just never really got into the members. If anyone wants to help, hit me up on twitter @SunlitYoungjae. For now, enjoy this masterpiece.
Well, that’s it from me. The next time you hear from me will be after I’ve met GOT7 in London… get ready for a review like no other..!
Another month gone. It’s easy to forget how quick time flies, as am getting ready to return back to university after a summer of being at home. With my busy schedule though, I still had time to dive into my favourite comebacks in the Korean music industry. Let’s go!
5. FANXY CHILD – Y
Fanxy Child have always been a group that were made out of my favourite artists. Seeing them come back and do more has been a blessing. It’s a very chilled, laid back vibe that they’ve brought this time with some easy listen rap and vocals that are on point. Can’t wait for even more from them.
4. Ravi – Still Nirvana
I feel that from my top 5 this month you can definitely see a pattern. Have to be honest here, it took me a few listens to get into this flow, but once I was in that was it. Ravi never disappoints in my opinion, if he returns to London I hope to see him for sure. The song has a lot of featured artists which can be a bit overwhelming, but never the less adore adore adore this song!
3. M.O.N.T
This song is so important, it talks about a piece of land that is Korean however the Japanese fought over it (if you would like to read some discussion about it, underneath the video are fans explaining the situation much better than me). The flow of the song is very powerful, you can hear the pride and loudness of the group. Aside from the deep message that it brings, the song is 100% my type, and M.O.N.T are a group I am looking into learning.
2. EVERGLOW – Adios
If you haven’t heard this yet… where have you been? This was so close to actually being my number one this month. The chorus will be stuck in your head for days on end, the beat is so uplifting and sucks you in so you want to dance. It is definitely a comeback of theirs that will keep me interested to see what they do next!
1 PENIEL – Flip ft Beenzino
THIS.IS.HIS.YEAR! This has been on my repeat over and over. Peniel has done so well on this comeback, and I have lowkey missed him. The flow of the rap is too good, the chorus is so catchy and I just have nothing bad to say. Please go and support Peniel!
July was the month when it finally happened, I finally met Monsta X. But let’s go from the beginning, because this was a proper party if I have ever been to one.
Monsta X at SSE Wembley arena on the 9th of July 2019.
To start off, I wanted to give back to the monbebe (their fandom name) community this concert, so paired up with two of my friends to put together small projects for three members. It’s safe to say that this was a success, and the 100 that I had made went ever so quickly, I hope fans enjoyed the goodies that I have made.
🇬🇧🐰 London Monbebes 🐰🇬🇧 Alesha (@fanxyheon) and I are doing small goodies which we will be handing out before the concert (9th July). You can find us in the line queuing, will post specific place on the day! We only have a 100 of each (I have Wonho, she has Jooheon). pic.twitter.com/bPWRmS0cMp
We were given our goodies that we paid for (as I had ultimate VIP) and our numbered wristband at which point we were free to wonder around for a couple of hours. Everyone around the venue was so nice, fans were helping each other out and once the queues were sorted everyone was ready to see what Monsta X had in store for us.
My signed album, the photo cards from it and my lanyard!
The moment the concert started we were all more than ready to party. The screams were deafening, but surely made the boys feel welcomed in London. It was my bad that this time, I didn’t record a single song fully… I was just too busy dancing and just enjoying my time.
The only thing that was slightly annoying was the stage layout as it was set out into a runway T. Therefore, when they were performing there it was hard to see, or only see the back of them. It was definitely more beneficial for during the concert to be further back rather than barrier. Though saying that, there was more than enough space to dance.
A short video of Joohoney and Shownu coming to dance on our side as well as a snippet of Dramarama.
One of the highlights from the over all concert was that Joohoney was actually drumming and smashing it! Definitely made me appreciate his talent even more, as well as leaving me mesmerised at how much he is actually capable of.
#MonstaXinLondon excuse me how does one look so amazing and gorgeous by just being there I can’t even we are all whipped for this man and we know it pic.twitter.com/6599pyzIWE
A clip of Joohoney playing the drums and Shownu looking amazing.
With the energy that Monsta X set, the concert hall soon felt more like a night club or a party, with everyone dancing to the songs and chanting along. It was such an amazing atmosphere I really hope to experience this again soon.
These show you the energy and partying vibe we had going!
The boys finished the concert with ‘By My Side’ to which I ended up tearing up slightly… or maybe a lot. This tour and set list was so well planned, even though they didn’t perform stuck or beautiful… it was exactly the perfect balance of what I was hoping for.
Now here is my experience meeting the boys:
My personal experience!
So, that was Monsta X for you. This concert is definitely one I will remember, and Monsta X are a group that I constantly recommend to people.
Have you seen them? When, where and how was your experience?
What a month July has been, probably one of my favourites so far! Let’s go!
5. Kang Daniel – What are you up to?
I am so happy to see Daniel doing some work, especially with everything that has been going on. Counts to say, I am definitely his fan and can’t wait what else he comes out with.
4. VAV – Give me more
This is such a summer bop, with a nice breakdown it is definitely one that gets stuck in your head. The music video is so nice and bright and the rap is exactly my type of vibe.
3. ITZY – ICY
This girl group is slowly becoming my favourite! (How many more times will I say favourite in this post?). Their first single blew me away, and this is just the comeback I was expecting. They have a distinct style and I definitely think that there is a lot in store from and for ITZY. Can you stay still while listening to this song?
2. Ailee – Room Shaker
My top two were so hard to choose between. Ailee, my girl, this comeback has slayed! I cannot stop playing this song over and over again. It is a completely new side that I adore. She’s so beautiful and talented, so I hope you can all go and support her!
1. Pentagon – Humph!
So, here we are at my number one of this month. With a chill vibe it has been my go to while working, playing and just relaxing. It’s a shame that Yanan is missing out of yet another music video, however I wish him well with his recovery and hope to see him back with these boys. They have not had it easy, but it’s definitely a group to look out for.
So, another month of the year over, and we are already near the end of August! What were your favourite comebacks of July?
SF9 did their world tour and made sure not to leave out London, which they visited in May 2019. Their members are Youngbin, Inseong, Jaeyoon, Dawon, Zuho, Rowoon, Taeyang, Hwiyoung and Chani.
SF9 on the 12th May 2019 in London.
The 9 member group which are under FNC Entertainment completed their world tour, interacting with thousands of fans as they did so. Before the show even started, some of the boys teased their fans; as some have queued since early hours of the morning, by walking out and around the venue with security, giving their fans some love.
The venue was filled with screams the moment SF9 stepped on stage, setting a positive mood for the concert. The interactions between the members and fans is something that personally surprised me. Their interaction is so sweet and constant throughout the whole time they are on stage.
Fans were blown away by their powerful vocals and talented dancing. One of my personal favourites was Play Hard.
As Inseong studied in England, close to the are where they were playing, he had fun stories and found a new way to connect with their English fans.
Overall, I hope to see SF9 doing another world tour and bring back the same positive energy.
First of all, am so sorry about how behind I have been. Life has gotten in the way then I was on holiday. Soon you can expect: July comebacks, SF9 in London and Monsta X in London. For now, here are the June comebacks that I have been living for.
This month is lacking girl groups/artists, however my personal top 5 are as follows.
5. NCT DREAM X HRVY – Don’t Need Your Love
Honestly, everyone was so apprehensive when this collaboration was announced, but it is safe to say that it is such a catchy song. I am so impressed and it did not take that long for me to adore it.
4. Yesung – Pink Magic
Seeing him again feels great, this song has been in my playlist for some time and definitely has been played (like a lot)! Made me so happy to see Kevin Woo supporting him too.
3. Zelo – Questions
I was so excited for this!!! Melo never disappoints and I really hope that all of the B.A.P boys continue to show us work so we can support them.
2. Monsta X ft French Montana – Who Do You Love?
Now this is another collaboration that has had lot of different views, and yeah it is all in English but it is a bop we cannot deny it. #wherearechangkyunslines
1. ATEEZ – Wave
ATEEZ just keep amazing me. These boys will always have my support and they are growing so quickly. It’s a proper summer jam and it is safe to say I miss them!
So here we go, 5 June comebacks that have made my month amazing. What have been your favourites?
It’s that time of the month where I review May’s comebacks and see the top 5 that have taken my fancy!
5. AB6IX – Breathe
This is one of the best songs I have heard this month, and honestly there have been so many good ones that it was hard to choose only 5! This is definitely a group to look out for though.
4. CLC – Me
Definitely another bop! CLC have never disappointed, though I definitely understand why it took some people a few listens to get into it.
3. NCT 127 – Superhuman
With the amount of troubles that they have had while on tour in the USA, they’re still delivering stronger than ever. I am gutted that I’m not seeing them when they come to London!
2. EXID – Me and You
Honestly, I can’t believe that this is going to be the last comeback as a group for these girlies. With the news of some of them not re signing, I can just pray that they all still do solo work so I don’t miss them too much~
1. GOT7 – Eclipse
With the way that their own company is trying to sabotage them (like giving them barely any promotion, or postponing ticket sales…) these boys are still coming through strong. The song itself has a really strong message behind it, and the music video is absolutely beautiful.
